    £3M Strabane Bypass starts Monday 11th February 2002

    The new road follows, for a considerable length, the route of the disused Great Northern Railway line, to the west of Melmount Road. Works will include new roundabouts at Bradley Way and Melmount Road, a new traffic light junction at Urney Road and the realignment of both Strahan's Road and Orchard Road.  
     
     
    This contract follows on from our contract, completed in April 2001, for the £2M realignment of the A5 Victoria Road at Ballymagorry, some three miles north of Strabane.
